What would the spies look like as villains and vice-versa?

This took me a while to get to, even though I've been thinking about it for a LONG while now...it took a lot of brainstorming (especially for the villains LOL)

Below the cut, I wrote some short character blurbs for each of them, and how different they are compared to their OG spy au counterparts!

The spy gang is admittedly a bit more straightforward than the villains. To be fair I also had a faster time figuring out the OG spies too so it's okay.

Agent Buí is our very determined and optimistic field agent! Like Miss April, she's very charismatic and just a bit goofy. She does Not have the hat of holding as an agent, but she's still inhumanely indestructible like a cartoon character. She's also a tad more careful about getting others involved in the crossfire than Miss April is.

Agent Rojo is most commonly seen as Agent Buí's field partner, though his lack of stealthiness and carefulness makes things a little more dicey for them. It's fine though, because Rojo and Buí enjoy the extra challenge. Just like Hellforge, he's very skilled in combat, he lovesss confronting people, and he abides by his moral beliefs seriously. Unlike Hellforge, he's not an engineer in any sense of the word, much less for weapons.

Agent Beguni is the resident tech wiz of the group, responsible for giving the agents a lot of gadgets and tools...though Rojo in particular complains about how "lame" his gadgets are ("Don't call them LAME they're there to PROTECT you!!") Him and Terror are similar in their general...idk patheticness? /LH and their desire to be a little less scared of everything by putting themselves in a high-risk career. Though he still gets kinda pulled by Rojo and Buí out in the field even if it's so so so scarys...

Agent Laranja is the handler and de facto "boss" of the spy gang, like Bughaw is. She likes to plan a lot but the others tend to derail them REALLY quickly, and she has to improvise along with them. It's a bit of work to get her agents under control, but she does enjoy working with them. Similarities with Axyon....might be a spoiler? They both have a background in psychology. And I guess Laranja smiles a lot more here.

I didn't include Granny (Agent Sepia) in here bc I got tired sorry </3 but she would've been a retired agent OR. a director. who keeps reminiscing of the good ol' days of espionage or something.

ANDD the villains. The guys I spent the most time on. My funny little guys

Bb. Alakdan is the villain group's primary information collector and, in some ways, their primary fighter. She specializes in socializing, fashion statements, and poison-making. She has a bunch of other needles hidden in her gloves and boots too. I almost didn't include the scorpion tail because it's So damn impractical. BUT DAMN if it isn't cool (Emile made it for her methink). Like Verte, their strengths are in charisma and persuasion. Unlike Verte, Alakdan is more willing to get her hands dirty, is more confrontational, and she has less emotional baggage about her job. Another name for her was Lady/Miss/Madame Scorpia, which, if translated in Tagalog, is Bb. Alakdan.

Vivien is Alakdan's little sister and a self-proclaimed villain-to-be!! Vivi adores everyone in the villain gang and wants to be as cool as them someday...Just like in the OG au however, her sister Dani discourages her from getting too interested in her career because it's dangerous. She's a bit more involved in the villain group though, kind of acting as their evil minion/apprentice/whatever. The others really like her and will burn the world down if anything bad happened to her. Villain name to come later if I ever come up with something for her.

The Duke of Hearts usually fills the role of Alakdan's partner-in-crime in the field. This fucking guy is actually the reason why this took so long, because I can't think of a good villain gimmick for Emby other than being the Muscle for the group (which is funny, since in the first versions of the OG spy au he WAS gonna be a villain too). I settled for a magician-type guy who's very stealthy and is also great at confusing people. He's just as socially anxious and self-conscious as Roz despite his chosen role, though I guess part of that is him wanting to get over his stage fright. While he's just as physically strong as Roz is, Duke is even more averse to getting into fights; he's truthfully not a very skilled fighter. You guys get to see this doodle I made which cemented the whole silent magician-thief thing I've got for him. Another name for him would've been Mr. Stardust, or something with King/Jack/Ace (like the suits). I don't think he would've been comfortable with being called King though. He's not the King of anything.

The hat of holding is kind of a /joke but I'm kinda obsessed with the implication that the villain group MUST have one in their possession. It's not really needed for him but damn if it isn't funny SKDJFH

Lady Tragedy is the group's mastermind and leader, and everyone pretty much respects her. Extremely clever and surprisingly persuasive, agents must be careful around her lest they hear her calming, hypnotizing voice. The mask is somewhat a mirror of Dr. Axyon's mask, but I haven't really thought about all these guys' motives and backstories too hard (I probably won't). Just like Bughaw, she's a very good leader who's very considerate of her comrades. Tragedy also has decked out mobility aids. Unlike Bughaw............................Tragedy's. a villain? I guess? I think that's literally it. Another name for her was Judge Amygdala or ANYTHING with Judge in it. Judge Tragedy is just hard to say out loud (unless that's just a me thing LOL) but I like how Lady Tragedy ended up sounding.

Emile, or Monsieur Mortelle is literally just Agent Indigo back when she was in the League if we're being honest. Nothing changed about her, I guess again other than motive reasons. She also didn't have a villain name originally, but my French partner suggested something with Mortelle because, APPARENTLY, "ennuie mortelle" is a common French saying which means "killer boredom". I think it was funny so I ended up giving that to her LOL in-universe I'd like to think that Alakdan gave her that name instead because Emile was perfectly satisfied with being called. Emile. She just kinda accepted it. ALSO BTW. Yes I'm aware the gendered words don't match, I know monsieur is masculine and mortelle is feminine That's the point ok. the point is she doesn't careeeeeeeeeeee about genderrrrrrrrrrr okay. so don't get up on my business about this. The only french opinions I care about is my partner's okay /lh

Anyways yeah my braincells were spent on the designs and the names. Probably not gonna develop this any further unless I want to do something silly with them, but nevertheless this was a fun little hypothetical to play around with!

The first image is a reference for the finer details of his character such as his hairstyle, his facial details like his nose and eyes, and his major scars.

The second image is more of how I envisioned his body type, but I struggle with consistency and being able to convey some bodies in different angles and intricate poses.

These are just some drawings I've made of his character as I was developing him.

While he is a rather calm individual, being stoic and silent most of the time, he does still get rather angry on the inside. Which is what I was trying to convey in the first image.

He respects his peers and superiors, but when they do legitimately stupid shit, he can and will rock their shit depending on how bad it was.

I've included this in his lore before but I am too nervous to share some of the finer details of his lore and will only be vaguely referencing it, sorry ☹️🫶

Now, I haven't filed through complete details so some things such as his rank and experience in the field may or may not be entirely accurate with the time he was working especially since I made his character on the fly and did little to no research at first. Only now am I actually trying to expand his character and lore and am realizing I did not do nearly enough research. Most of this is just what I thought sounded nice at first.

Personality: usually grumpy and quiet. switches between sassy, rude, and teasing(towards close people) and quiet, obedient, and stoic. He's technically a strong and silent type around most people, usually very distrusting and distant. He's very good at following orders unless they're outright stupid, then he'll put up a fight about them.

Backstory: (my attempt at being brief, sorry🙏) given to an (underground) training organization with unconventional training methods at a young age, was tortured and ridiculed for disobeying (his scars on his face and chest🫶), escaped with force when he was 17(nearly 18). Had to travel by himself to the US and rely on strangers to get him there (no money in his name).

Eventually joined the Marines at 20, met Dusk (his Colonel). Blah blah blah, went up the ranks. At 28 he dragged Dusk out of the field half exploded and left the Marines soon after Dusk did. Joined Shadow Company 🫶

Issues: PTSD, nightmares, paranoia, nervous at being touched randomly

Habits: never takes off his mask unless he's REALLY comfortable, sleeps with it on more often than not. Hovers close to people he likes cause he doesn't like to reach out and touch people, settling on subtle hands on shoulders or light brushes of skin. Watches and evaluates anyone and everyone in the same room as him, constantly searching for any red flags or threats.

Scars: One over each eye (resembling clown markings)

One running over his bottom lip and down his chin.

One running from his collar bone to below his navel.

A mix of bullet, knife, and other scars from his field work scattered over his arms and hands.

Preferred method of showing care/affection/love language: acts of service, quality time, ("secretly") physical touch.

Preferred way of receiving care/affection: words of affirmation, physical touch

Eye Color: left eye pale yellow with brown center, right eye green with yellow center. has heterochromia

Hair description: short and dusty brown with two streaks of early greying. Two long pieces in front of either ear, short in the back.

Clothing description: SC Uniform - beige tactical vest stocked with red and yellow(ish) glow sticks(?, I forgot the actual name for it), roll of thin rope, and three mags. Black, long-sleeve zip-neck shirt with the shadow company insignia on the sleeve. Black balaclava, black helmet and goggles with attachable headphones connected to comms. Black tactical cargo pants, black belt with two storage pouches attached at either side of his hips, and a right handed gun holster. Very dark brown/black combat boots.

Not in uniform - form fitting short-sleeve shirts and jeans most of the time. Occasionally switching it up for loose shirts when his compression shirts feel too tight and strangling for a casual day. He wears belts to at least make it seem like he cares about his outfits, even though he doesn't really put effort. Picking up whatever dark colored shirts and jeans he can find and calling it a day most of the time.

Body description: well-built Filipino man with hooded eyes. He has a bit of stubble along his jaw, forgetting to shave often. Freckles are speckled over his face, arms, neck and shoulders, and legs. Body hair over his chest, arms, and legs mainly. Occasionally lets other Shadows paint his nails when they ask (requests black but can't say no if they choose another) so sometimes has painted nails.

Favorite activities: sitting outside with nature, playing guitar, going to the bar with Dusk to spend time and catch up, reteaching Dusk guitar

He's generally like a big dog that doesn't realize it's own size, like a great Dane of sorts. Protective, loyal to a fault with aggressive tendencies towards those he doesn't know/trust. Silent and strong, unless he's with someone close to him (very few people in his original universe, maybe two people at most. Though I do headcanon him to be relatively close with the Shadows and Graves in my shadow company AU, being more welcoming with touch and close proximity but still acting grumpy like he doesn't want it, despite enjoying every brush or touch of skin to his.)

He enjoys his quiet time and regular meets up with an old friend of his, back from his Marine days, the both of them learning electric guitar and playing together sometimes to loosen up.

He's a workaholic all in all, not having many hobbies or activities out side of his work.

He lives at base, having been out on the streets before starting his career in the military.

He earned his scars on his face and chest when he was about 16-17, fleeing his state as soon as he was nearing 18 (lore reasons that I'm too nervous to share with people) and living on the streets with a lengthy theft history until he joined the Marines at 20 years old. Where he met his previously mentioned 'old friend', his Colonel, call sign 'Dusk'.

His shadow company number is 7-28. No I did not do research on the actual numbers, I just chose random ones that sounded nice on my tongue. Plus 28 is like,,, my number, if you couldn't tell by my user.

If anyone understands the number system better and would like to help me out by correcting me, I would appreciate that very much. But for now, it is Shadow 7-28.

His lore and titles were developed before I put him in Shadow Company canonically, so shit like him being a Lieutenant and other things that would require him to have years and years of experience to get would be from his career in the Marines before then. I'm assuming he would have to start fresh since he joined a new company? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believeeee he'd have to start fresh with SC with things like titles.

He does still keep his old mask since Dusk helped him with it, but now he really only wears the shadow company uniform and gear. Swapping his plain black balaclava for his old one with the skull-like details when he's back at base relaxing.

• tried drawing once, it looked like a kids drawing. he never picked up a pencil to draw again

• He's a lieutenant!!

• spent years training to be a sniper that he's now unnecessarily still and silent while working on smaller tasks that require even the slightest bit of focus such as paperwork.

While I haven't gone deep into lore for him, I do have a few small facts about him that have played a part in Dawn's lore.

• He is 6'3, standing only an inch taller than Dawn.

• he was Dawn's Colonel for most of their career before they joined Shadow Company.

• just before Dawn had left to join SC, Dusk had gotten caught too close to an explosion. Having been dragged back to the base by Dawn himself and after healing, was left with very little sight and hearing on his left side. He struggled to be able to do many tasks that he needed to be able to complete to keep his job afterwards and had to quit.

• he cut off his long hair after the explosion burned off a lot of his hair, being left with very little long hair left on his right side. He felt it looked odd and cut it off so it could regrow at its own pace. Some parts of his scalp on his left side having damaged the actual skin there making it very hard/impossible to regrow it in some patches.

• he started learning guitar before joining the military, having been the one who inspired Dawn to learn and having lent Dawn their first ever guitar.

• was the one who gave Dawn his callsign

• he's Filipino, one of the many traits he and Dawn bonded over

• acts as Dawn's older brother later on in their career together after years of knowing each other. He has two siblings at home while Dawn is an only child

While some parts of his character were based off of him, the name was surprisingly not, it just happened to match up with Dawn while I was making them 🫶

sorry that this sat for, like, two days...but thank you for the asks!

4. what is the plot bunny you've been carrying around the longest? optional bonus question: do you ever wonder why you haven't written it yet and experience deep existential dread?

I have many. many. many ideas. and not just for ATLA. but I think these are my favorites:

for ATLA

a. book 2, Iroh and Zuko are in Ba Sing Se. I say "screw you" to canon a bit and extend their time there. during that time, Zuko and Jin start actually dating, they become friends with the Jet, Smellerbee, and Longshot. with that friendship, they slowly relax into being teens and having fun (in part because they're committing Blue and Green Spirit shenanigans together). Zuko kinda forgets he was Zuko and really starts to embrace Lee. and then, Jet sees a poster about Appa and drags Lee with them, he sees the Gaang, and Zuko come crashing back to reality. they retrieve Ty Lee and Mai from the Palace (by accident, cause they think Suki is there), and then it's a trek of a dozen teens across the Earth Kingdom to take down Ozai. oh, and also, Jin is a secret (but very bad) earthbender.

I've written about half of it. maybe I'll finish and post it one day. there's also a GREAT scene where Zuko (as Lee) goes to Jin's for dinner and to meet her parents and younger sister (that I added for funsies). it's so awkward and fun and I love it so much.

b. I got permission to write a story based on @gemgirl28's idea. I have yet to write it yet, but it is outlined. that delay just makes me feel bad, because I want to do the story justice.

Spy X Family

a. like many others, I have been sucked into the Spy X Family world. it's three years ahead of where the story is now, and it starts with Donovan Desmond dying in a plane crash. and then it's just sort of how the cold war grows from there, Loid has to fake his death, Yuri evacuates Yor and Anya, it's a whole thing. a whole, very messy, very chaotic...thing. :)

I've already started writing it. I'm maybe a chapter into it.

34. how do you name characters and places?

characters: baby name lists. so many baby name lists. the targeted ads I get make my mother-in-law VERY curious and happy.

places: I tend to come up with a connecting theme for a place. so like, for the Earth Kingdom: a lot of actual real-life Chinese towns/cities are named sort-of based on their location (Bei Jing: Northern Capital). so, in Eight Years Later, the few smaller EK towns I created are named after the location they're at. however, for the Fire Nation in EYL, because I kind of view the cultural side of the Fire Nation as a pan-Asian country made up of a whole collection of cultures, each island I've "named" is just a "firebender associated" word from different Southeast Asian languages. so like, in EYL, Araw Island is "Day" in Filipino/Tagalog (don't remember exactly which one, sorry!), Moesashi Island is "Embers" in Japanese, and so on.

(fun fact: Mosu actually has MANY meanings...such as "ember" and "humble"...he's kinda the only character in EYL, at least, that I didn't find from a baby name list and instead went the language route - but it is an actual name, also, I think...I'm pretty sure I found it somewhere...it's been years at this point, apologies)

35. tell us about a character who's very different than you who you love a whole lot.

Ty Lee. I am not that bubbly and positive. I wish I could be. I know she's hiding mountains of hurt, which honestly, aren't we all? but she's able to put on a very compelling facade to get through her day, and I'm not sure if that's admirable or even more depressing. but I like to think that post-canon Ty Lee is very happy and doesn't have to fake it.

64. what is your favorite title for a fic you've read?

people can be real clever with their titles, and I wish I had that skill. I really like goofy, silly titles. little jokes and what not. I don't have any immediately in mind, I tend to forget details like that, but scrolling through my Ao3 history, I found this one and it made me chuckle:

(^ pretty much all I read at the moment are cute little domestic one-shots, so...this is cute and silly and sweet)

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what exactly do you mean by orphans in your last post? Like the lost both parents kind of orphan or some other type? I've loved all of your weird supernatural nations art and headcanons (really scratches an insatiable itch about their natures) and I was wondering if I was missing anything.

Hey there!! It's not a dumb question at all! First off, thank you for the compliments!! I'm really glad that you like my silly little headcanons ;w; This is gonna be a little bit of a long one, so everything will be under the cut!

Before I get into what Orphans are specifically, I feel like it's important to give a little bit more background on my meta! In my headcanon, nations are called the Devai ( from the tagalog word Diwata and its root sanskrit form, Devata. devas is the singular form of the word ). "Nation" is just one of the many names that humans refer to them by. The Devai were created by The Mother, who embodies the Earth's spirit. They were made to serve as protectors and knowledge keepers of the humans the Mother grew quite fond of.

The original group of Devai, known as "The Ancients" or "The First Ones" to contemporary nations were made from the Earth, but the ones who came after them could be created either by being born to two devai parents or by being born to a devai / human pair. A devas whose parents are both devai are normally already born bonded to a particular community and are immortal, while those who are half-human don't become immortal unless they are "turned".

Anyone with devai heritage somewhere down the line can be turned, but the more distantly related you are means you're far less likely to be turned. Devai who have been turned are called "newborns". These newborns have to be mentored by another devas and taught how to adjust to their new life as immortals bonded to a community of people. If a newborn isn't mentored within a year of being turned, they turn into what's known as an "Orphan".

Orphans, also called the "Misguided" or the "Maladjusted" (the latter is considered to be a derogatory term, however), never fully settle into their new identity. They suffer from a whole host of problems which includes having trouble differentiating between their own thoughts and the inner voice of their people. They often lack a grounding sense of purpose and are overly reliant on humans to define their sense of self. Orphans also have great difficulty regulating themselves in battle, which has unfortunately made them notorious for being indiscriminate killers among their kind and susceptible to exploitation by humans.

They are also vulnerable to the creatures that lurk in the spirit realm. An important skill mentors teach newborns is how to create a "mindspace". This place acts as a barrier between a Devai's mind and the broader spirit realm, which is considered a dangerous place to be even for the likes of them. An orphan's mindspace is poorly constructed, which means creatures from the other side can often creep in. Not all of them are harmful and some can even be tamed and adopted as a sort of familiar, hence why Rahela has her lil many eyed worm creature!

Orphans are not viewed favorably by other Devai. They are often pitied at best and outright reviled at worst. Some known Orphans in my world are Gilbert (Prussia), Rahela (Romania), Ezekiel (Knights Hospitaller), and Sanson (Knights Templar). Gilbert is much better adjusted now compared to how he was when he was a kid thanks to Reiner becoming a mentor to him later in life. Rahela, on the other hand, insists that she has learned to live with her condition and doesn't seek to be mentored.

You muttered it to yourself but you’re sure that everyone in the room heard it. You didn’t mean to blurt out the name you’ve engraved in your mind. It was just that his eyes, not only their color but the certain look his eyes had, this red haired stranger had the same exact eyes as your hyung. Everyone looked shocked at your words. You don’t exactly know why they were shocked but you can’t trust these people, or the dragon, no matter how princely the two men looked.

“Um I’m sorry you’re clearly not him it was a mistake

The more words you stammer the deeper the grave you dig. As someone who never had to lie you’re very bad at it. Afterall, the only thing your Rok Soo-hyung has taught you were acting skills, not lying skills. As for your second life, there wasn’t even any reason to speak much less lying.

The three baffled beings quickly composed themselves and decided that the important thing right now was to get out of this place. Teleporting to the Roan Kingdom’s palace was peaceful. No one questioned you for the time being as all of them seem to be busy thinking among themselves. The cute young dragon with them appears to be fond of you for some unknown reason though.

You might’ve stayed in the golden man’s arms but that didn’t stop the dragon from trying to be affectionate. Instantly once the four of you came to the castle a room and food was prepared and soon the four of you were settled.

As this is the first time you ever went out after being born, you couldn’t help but admire and take in what this new world has to offer you. Well there was admiration but also confusion. Being born in a fantasy-like world wasn’t as surprising for you as you remember what happened to your old world. The thing is everything looked familiar. You know for sure that you haven’t been anywhere in this world and that you’ve never met these people but they were still familiar.

Those thoughts were pushed aside as you sightsee in awe. Well they were pushed aside until a chef and a butler came inside the room you were in to bring the food.

“Eat a lot, little dragon! Our chef Beacrox is a very good chef so I’m sure you’ll like them! Oh and this lemonade gramps here is our gramps Ron! He's a very good guy who takes care of us.”

Dragon? Beacrox? Ron? You might've snapped your neck in half from how fast you looked at the young dragon encouraging you to eat. That shocking statement solidified an info for you, you were born inside of the last novel you read with your Rok Soo-hyung.

‘Dragon? What dragon? The only dragon here right now is you silly. Hmm but is this really Birth of a Hero? Then that must mean that the golden guy is Alberu Crossman and that other guy is Cale Henituse. But wait, why is Cale here? Wasn’t he some guy that was only introduced for a short while? Shouldn’t it be Choi Han, the protagonist here?’

Young as you might be in both this life and your past life, the experiences you accumulated from your old ruined world still accumulated to some wits.

As soon as the food was properly set and the lemon honey tea had been poured there was another knock from the door. ‘Who could it be?’ As if reading your thoughts a black mop of hair popped out from the door.

‘It’s Choi Han! It’s really Choi Han! I think I can die in peace now that I've seen fictional characters. I wonder how my hyungs would react if they were with me…’

Excitement quickly turned into longing when you remembered your hyungs. As if sensing your mood, the dragon, who you learned was named Raon, urged you to eat more. After Choi Han’s entrance no one else came and you all ate with minimal noise.

Dread soon replaced the awe and excitement you previously felt. There might’ve been some incredible things you’ve seen but you still didn’t forget that right now you don’t know what these people want with you. Sure the young dragon seemed to be fond and Choi Han looked at you with kindness in his eyes but that doesn’t really tell you anything.

But what choice do you have? You barely know anything so you just have to accept what’s happening and hope for the best as you can’t do anything. At times like this you wished you were back on earth with your ability maybe then there was at least something that you can do for yourself.

Despite the negative thoughts brewing, you still tried to stay optimistic. From what you’ve read the people here are good people and they haven’t locked you up or anything. Instead, they seem to be treating you like you’re a guest. Well you aren’t sure just how many children visit the palace for them to have a children's guest room, but you welcome it as it reminds you of your room back on earth.

All things must come to an end and anxiety creeped up more and more as dinner was slowly having its closure. You might’ve never watched TV in your previous world due to you still being young when the world flipped but you’ve read enough books with your hyung to know where this is going. In an attempt to lessen the blow of the upcoming interrogation you initiated as soon as you and the other kid in the room finished your rations.

Appearance

Len is described as an elegant and youthful looking woman. She has long black hair that reaches past her hips which gradients into light purple and slightly pale skin. Her eyes are a mixture of purple and blue colors. A beauty mark can be seen from the right side of her chin. Much like many of the witches in the Western Country, she adores flashy and intricate clothing and is often seen wearing a long, white and red dress decorated with red spider lilies. She also wears a white witch's hat, also decorated with the same flower and a black ribbon. If one were to look closer, they might just see glittering spider webs flicker from under her hat. Her magic tool is wrapped around her waist, able to detangle itself at will whenever she uses it. To match her attire, she also wears white heels.

Personality

Len usually has a very calm demeanor. Despite her appearance however, she can be very blunt and honest to a fault; not caring to sugarcoat anything or beat around the bush. When speaking to someone, her words are devoid of lies - courtesy of her mother’s teachings.

Due to centuries of teaching and caring for many young ones, wizards and humans alike, she had developed a very motherly personality. Caring for others comes naturally to her, and she finds herself doting on the younger ones more often than not.

As a western witch, it's very hard to get Len to lose her temper. She can brush off most things with a laugh and move on.

Warning: The first people who interact with Panchito and Jose are racist. Yes hanging around people because they are “exotic” is a form of racism.

Disclaimer: I do not know Spanish or Portuguese ( I do know Tagalog and English) I do not have a deep knowledge of small towns in Mexico and Rio Brazil. I have read a few fan translated comics of Ze Carioca. There isn’t a lot of extra things about Panchito so my headcannon/AU is that he is a rancher on a small ranch town. This isn’t my best work. I just wanted to write out how Panchito and Jose met Donald in college. This is just for fun.

The girls walked away faster as if they didn’t hear him.

The rooster slumped. He shuffled his cowboy boots. Was coming to the United States a mistake? No, he bunched his callused hands into a fist. No, he can’t let his familia down. He clasped his overall straps and flipped his head back to face the sun. He felt the sun fill him with family pride. He could imagine his family cheering him on with gritos. Unbeknownst to him he was cheering out loud. Everyone in the collage lawn walked away annoyed by the joyful noise. Everyone but a white Duck. He saw the exchange and felt the pain of not being understood. The Roosters cowboy country style reminded him of time spent on his grandma’s farm. This was someone that he had something in common with.

After getting to know Donald, Panchito was amazed at all the places he has been. Panchito was born and raised on his Papa’s ranch just like his Papa and his Abuelos before him. He had what would be considered adventures but only in his hometown. He was the star of the town rodeo, he fought off wolfs from his cows, he was the youngest deputy in town because of his skills with pistols and rope. Going to college in the USA was the farthest he had gone from home. He never thought about what was in Africa, or China, or Greenland. He enjoyed listening to Donald’s adventures he learned a lot about the world around him from Donald. Donald had a lot to learn from Panchito as well. Donald had been to Mexico, but He was just a visitor. Panchito also taught him the music styles, dance styles, dating, words, everything he enjoyed about Mexican culture was joyfully shared.

Jose had girls around him constantly. he was confused. At home he had to fight and beg and scheme for women to notice him. He was confused about US culture, but no one explained it to him. He would ask the girls questions and they would just laugh and say, “I love the way you speak!” He knew they didn’t really care for him. He started to distance himself from them until his heart yearned for human interaction. He was an entertainer by heart and therefor would entertain them to a point.

There was one event that made him the most confused about the USA. A girl took him to see a Football game. He loved Football! He would play all the time with his chums in Brazil. He would try every year to sneak into the big Football games. He got ready for the game by dressing up in his football jersey. There were men with big shoulder pads and helmets. What were they? The entertainment? He finally realized they were the players. “Ah the USA must be really concerned with safety eh?” Then he saw the “ball”. “QUE!? That thing can’t even roll!” Then the player where holding the ball with their hands!?? “Onde já se viu uma coisa dessas?” He couldn’t stand it. He needed answers and these girls were not giving him answers! He stormed out of the game.

Why did he come here? He loved Brazil! Things made sense in Rio. He missed everything about home. He missed the constant music that flowed though out the streets of his little burgo. Jose was looking at his feet but only now he realized he was taping his foot. Oh! there was music playing. He could hear a quiet guitar playing outside the arena. He followed it. There was a white duck sitting under a tree playing.

Jose cleared his throat, “excuse me, you are very good.”

“Thanks.” The Duck said flatly and continued strumming.

Undeterred Jose sat on the opposite side of the tree from the Duck. Jose looked around to see if anyone was walking by. He reached into his pocket and pulled out an umbrella. “Mind if I -as you say- ‘jam’ with you?” the Duck just hummed. Jose put the umbrella to his lips and produced a flute sound to compliment the guitar.

Donald didn’t remember if the Parrot had a flute with him or not. He continued to strum while he peaked around the tree to see the Parrot was blowing on an umbrella. Upon closer inspection there was no holes on the umbrella, so the only explanation was, “Magic!”

The strumming and flouting stopped. Jose stood up quickly, “Magic? Hahah no, my friend, Magic isn’t real.” Jose was sweating and nervous laughing. he spoke quickly. “This, this is just a, what do you say? A novelty toy.” Jose moved the umbrella round so Donald couldn’t get a closer look at it. Donald snatched it out of Jose’s hands and inspected it. An alarm was going off in Jose head. He had told his Avo he wouldn’t expose the family. Not everyone took kindly to magic. Jose dove for the umbrella. They tussled each swiping and snatching and hitting and pulling and pushing and reaching. Finally, Donald had pinned Jose to the ground one hand still held the umbrella. “Ha! No holes it has to be Magic!”

Jose could see he was out matched, he turned to his other tactic begging “Please please! I beg of you don’t take it! It’s a gift from my Avo! She would kill me! Please! It’s not that great anyways!”

Donald let Jose up. “It’s alright calm down, I just wanted to see.” He handed the umbrella back.

Jose hugged the umbrella tight.

Donald rubbed the back of his neck. “Sooooo your Avo gave it to you?”

Jose looked at Donald dubiously.

Donald held up his hands non threateningly “Hey, I’ve been around magic since I was born.”

“O que? You a magic user too?”

Donald shrugged, “Na I don’t like to use it that much, much rather use my fists.” Donald flashed a smile at Jose and continued “But if it wasn’t for magic my uncle, grandma and grandma would have been dead years ago.”

Jose loosened up. “ah just like my Avo made herself poção de remédio.” Jose mimicked making a potion.

“Ya…. That kinda stuff is not for me.” He looked at the umbrella. “So how does this one work.”

“Oh that’s easy,” Jose took the umbrella and held it like a guitar. “Just think of the tune in your head and let it flow to the umbrella.” Jose started a strumming motion and the sound of a guitar flowed out of the umbrella.

“Woah! Let me try!” Jose handed the umbrella over. Donald held his fingers like he would on the frets of the guitar and strummed the invisible strings. A strum came out. “Now this is magic I can get into.”

Donald’s cool and aloof persona melted around Jose and Panchito. Jose felt it a relief he could talk to Donald about a part of his life he didn’t usually share. Heck he hadn’t even told Nestor, his best friend, but then again Nestor was a superstitious sort. He felt like he could talk to Donald about anything. More importantly he felt he could ask Donald anything.

“You are… wise, Yes?”

Donald shrugged. “It depends.”

“Why do they name the Football here Football? They don’t use their feet!”

Donald laughed but tried to explain to the best of his ability. These friends taught each other much. Eventually Jose learned to enchant Donald’s hat into an accordion. They got to know each other more than just what country they hailed from and shared a dream to become famous for the music they poured their souls into.

hi! could i have a ship with an enhypen? i’m 5’0 and a 06’ liner. my sun is in aquarius, my moon is in cancer, and my rising is sagittarius. i’m filipino and i have deep dark brown wavyish hair that reaches a lil past my shoulder. i also have curtain bangs and layers. i have dark brown eyes. i can understand tagalog fluently but i can’t speak fluently. i’m also currently learning french.

as for my personality, i’m an INFJ-T and a type 2w3. i’m more of an ambivert but i still get nervous to talk to people/approach them but i can deal with conversation. around people i don’t really talk to, you could say i’m quiet and reserved but around my close friends/ppl i’m rlly comfortable with, i’m way more talkative and like myself. i would say i’m rlly hardworking and determined. i’m rlly kind sometimes too kind LOL. i’m a lot more knowledgable with my close friends so i always educate them on things i know a lot about. i’m rlly patient and give good advice. i don't rlly get mad only frustrated/annoyed. i’m also a rlly good listener and the type to remember the little things! i love making people laugh and just caring for them/helping them. the people i love are rlly important to me, so their opinions and what they think rlly matter to me. i tend to be insecure a lot so sometimes i don’t get to show the person my real self. it’s rlly hard for me to rlly be comfortable/open up completely. i’m rlly emotional and a bit sensitive like i’ll cry if someone is upset with me and i tend to cry trying to explain myself so i’m still kind of working with confrontation but i’m pretty decent with it. i hate it when ppl are upset with me and somehow i always end up saying sorry becus i always think it's somehow my fault. my mind talks a lot and i tend to keep a lot of my feelings in and bottle them up until i just burst ironically😭. i overthink a lot so reassurance is always nice. i rehearse things i’m going to say in my mind and plan out things in my mind. i hate it when i feel trapped in a relationship/friendship and i feel like i can’t fully be myself so i tend to distant and seem a little cold with that person even though i feel rlly bad for that. i tease and joke around a lot with people i’m comfortable with. i’m not afraid to say my opinions, what i believe in, or speak up for ppl who are getting bullied. i tend to talk really fast when i’m publicly speaking or if i get rlly excited about a topic i’m really interested in or know a lot ab. i’m also rlly openminded and empathetic. i’m into taking risks for the fun and adrenaline of it but i also like playing the safe side in more serious situations. i’d say i’m rlly funny and fun to hang with. i tend to always feel like i don’t belong in a group or i stand out. i'm also a fast learner and i improve quickly. i get scared really easily and when i get embarrassed my ears get red. i love sweets and desserts. i don’t like seafood but i love pasta and meat. also like cuddling !! and doing fun things with the people i love. i love going out and going places. in relationships i tend to joke around and act like i have a love-hate relationship with the person. i also love homemade things i think it’s really sweet and precious. my giving love language is quality time, acts of service, and physical touch. my receiving love language is words of affirmation, quality time, and physical touch.

for my interests and hobbies, i really like working out and listening to music. my music taste consists mostly of kpop, r&b/indie r&b, chill hiphop, and pop. i also like creating playlists LOL. i also like baking and would love to do more of it! i love playing volleyball but i tend to be insecure a bit ab my skills. i’ve played it for 5 years i think? i also really like makeup and skincare. i have a pretty imaginative mind so here and there i like to make blurbs and stuff like that but i never rlly write it down. in school i’m rlly into science and in the future i hope to be a nurse practitioner and then a physician assistant. i also like painting my nails and pampering myself. i like to do fun photoshoots! i love watching animated movies and disney movies, princess and the frog is my fav! i also like psychological thrillers and horror movies but i would have to watch horror movies in the day with someone. also fashion! i’m really into that and i wanna get into it more. i’m leaning towards a soft minimalistic aesthetic. i also like playing open-world video games.

EXO Reaction to a Filipino Idol

Note: Bruh I think I have overdone this reaction. This reaction is made from a request by an anon! I am so excited to finally receive an ask! But yes I did make this reaction extra special because of my hiatus. Sorry for not being active anymore because I have been addicted to osu and other rhythm games (Arcaea and Superstar SM). Junmyeon

You guys met at one of the designer parties he attends to. Despite being in the same industry, you guys haven’t really faced each other. He was probably too busy tending to his members.

In that moment, he finally had enough courage or time to actually talk to you. He really liked how you guys shared many struggles, from trainee days and even today. “I really understood your struggles back then. Adjusting to a new country and lifestyle is really hard.” He said to you as he patted your shoulders.

Junmyeon would give out flowers every promotion you had. Even if your group didn’t win, you always get a bouquet from him. Your members started assuming that he has a liking on you.

Your family started to notice his actions as well. “Are you sure that Junmyeon isn’t courting you?” Your concerned father asked. He loves his unica hija (lit. unique daughter, in context: only daughter) too much to just let her go with a mere guy. He has to know more about Junmyeon before letting his child date him.

It seemed like everyone around you are just beating around the bush because of his actions around you. But all that was worth it as he went to your parents and asked them if he can court you. “Mr. and Mrs. (Surname), I like your daughter (Name). Can I court her?” He asked them. - The parents did not even question it since Suho is such a sweetheart

Junmyeon also started exploring more about the Philippines, knowing that his beautiful girlfriend is from the country. He would firstly look up at pieces of art made by Filipino artists (with the likes of Fernando Amorsolo and Juan Luna), it would be a bonus if you’re interested in art as well. Most of your conversations would end up being about you guy’s cultures and how the painters showed the message they want to put out there.

He would also end up being really curious about the language as well. I can see him trying to learning the language just for you. “Sobrang mahal kita, ikaw ang aking mundo” He says with a cute bashful smile. It still sounded different because of his Korean accent. You found it quite endearing that he will go through all this lengths to impress you and show how much he loves you.

Minseok

For Xiumin... hmm... it’s hard because I can’t really picture Xiumin with a Filipino girl or a foreigner in general. It’s not that he doesn’t like Foreigners, but I am very unsure about it. Like Kyungsoo, he is really into girls that are more traditional.

Like everyone else, Minseok would be really interested in your culture. The delicious food, the language you spoke. He would always listen to the way your voice shifted when you speak to him and to your parents. “Ma okay lang ako... nag-iingat naman po kami ni Minseok.” You spoke to your worried mother over the phone.

Although I can see him trying to actually learn Tagalog just for you. He would learn it in secret until he was fluent enough to tell you that “(Y/N) ikaw lamang ang aking mamahalin” and write you a whole essay on why he loves you just in Tagalog.

In music shows, like Junmyeon, he will send you lots of flowers because that is exactly where you guys met at. Every time your group had a comeback that was around the same time as his, he will always look at you and got the courage to sneak in his phone number.

Minseok texts you a lot, telling you if you got his flowers or if your parents approved of him. - Of course your parents approved of him, even saying that you grew up too fast as you now have a boyfriend.

You guys haven’t had the time to be together due to his military enlistement, but as soon as he can hold his phone again, you were the one of the first people he messaged. “Sorry I haven’t talked to you” He said.

But out of all the EXO members, he gave you the sweetest confession at a park at night. “I want to say that I enjoy your company and I am thinking about my future with you.” He said to you as his hands cupped your face.

Yixing

I remember the time he said PhiliPENIS, this man right here lol. Anyway, jokes aside I think Yixing would be really interested in your culture. It is a bonus point that both of you are foreigners and are in the same industry. Like Suho, Yixing met you in one of those luxury parties hosted by fashion labels.

You immediately caught his eyes, the look you were wearing really suited you. The colors were beautiful, just like you. When the cameras aren’t rolling, this is where he would move. He would DM you via instagram and that is where you guys will start to talk. It went from simple “how are you?”, to the more complicated topics. You were his home, the place he would go to if he’s stress.

It would definitely be a bonus if you like doing music. You would be singing many of his demos so that he can really see if he did a great job. His source of inspiration is you as he stays late at night to compose something for him.

Even if you’re an idol, your relationship would still be long distance as he is in China and you’re in Korea, promoting with your group. (With some sneaky flights to China), “I miss you Yixing...” You smiled at him as you looked at the screen, Yixing is working hard in the studio.

“I miss you too... I wish I can hug you.” He said to you, his eyes somber as he looked at the screen of his phone, seated at his studio, working on a new song. Every time you guys kissed, hugged or touched each other, it felt more electrifying as you have never met him often.

Since he had always been a dancer, I can see him trying to learn Cariñosa (I had a dream like this aaaa), he would be really curious at the many dances the Philippines offered.

(Note: I have to cut the reaction for Yixing because I might get political and I don’t wanna get in jail anytime soon lol)

Baekhyun

I feel Baekhyun would be a bit more safer with a Filipino girl (given what happened to his ex-girlfriend). I can see him being with one as he was the one who came up with the Phixo name in the first place.

He would protect you so much to the point that he will not reveal you guys are together. With what happened to Taeyeon and to think that you are a Filipino idol, which means you are certainly the pride of your country. He would rather reveal you at the right time. (When will that be at this rate)

You met him at a music show while promoting his solo stuff. He really enjoyed your group’s performance as well. You became immediately his favorite member for your talent and eye-catching looks. He knew you already since debut and thought you were really pretty, but it took to another level when he saw you personally.

His jaw dropped at your looks, you were unique unlike any other idols. With his social skills, he didn’t hesitate to talk to you backstage and that is where you guys really took off.

I can see you and him are variety idols. - Reminds me of Heechul and Momo. You guys would always come up with the stupidest jokes. Bonus points if you are a gamer as well. You guys would always fight at the latest RPG games out there. “I beat your ass!” You said to him while laughing at his loss in the game.

Baekhyun would also sing songs for you (like Kyungsoo and Chanyeol). He would sing all your favorite songs in Tagalog just for you!!!! I am fangirling in the inside as I imagine Baekhyun singing songs to make you sleep aaaa He would also try to explore your culture as he would try out your favorite food as well.

“Wow this thing tastes delicious!” Baekhyun remarked as he poured the soup over the rice. A smile formed in your face as he eagerly ate the food. You looked at him, lovingly observing him. You were glad he really enjoyed the food you made.

In later years, when he finally think that you will be the one that he truly wants to be with forever, he will choose to settle in the Philippines as the media and paparazzi there is not as crazy as the ones in Korea.

Chanyeol

For Chanyeol, I think you guys met through MC-ing, You guys were partnered up to MC a music show. Since your cute bickering in the music show aired on TV, your fans started shipping the two of you. It ended up with you guys talking more to each other backstage. Recommending songs and telling your problems to each other were the most topics of you guys’ conversations.

He ends up giving his number as you guys message each other more and more often. He was the first one to fall for you. Falling for the first time your eyes laid on his. You fell for him in no time, enjoying his company.

Because of you, he would listen to Filipino music. Particularly, I can see Chanyeol liking old Filipino bands such as Silent Sanctuary, Eraserheads, Parokya Ni Edgar, and Orange & Lemons. He would always sing their songs to you every time you guys meet. You guys would even have Karaoke nights where you just sing songs. “I heard Filipinos are good singers.” He told you as he handed out the mic.

You laughed as you started singing. - Obviously you would be a good singer as you debuted in an idol group and is a known kontesera (a woman who participated in many singing contests). He was charmed by how captivating your voice was.

You became the topic of many songs by Chanyeol. Your eyes, your loving words, your everything. - He loved every single part of it. Hell he can even dedicate a whole album just for how much he loves you and how you are an important part of his life.

You went to the Philippines to have your vacation. As you were enjoying your family’s company, suddenly you heard a familiar voice. You stood up from your couch and looked down at the window. “(Name)! This one’s for you!” Your eyes widened as you saw that it was Chanyeol.

Chanyeol started strumming his guitar. The view looked amazing, the stars twinkled, he looked ethereal as he looked up to meet your eyes.Your parents peeked with you as their heard his voice. “Uso pa ba ang harana?” He started singing the song with his low voice. He was singing Harana by Parokya Ni Edgar.

Kyungsoo

People would be rather shocked as Kyungsoo is the type of guy to date a traditional Korean girl. But I can also see him truly appreciating a Filipina girl. He firstly found you quite weird because he

It was you who made the first move. Your group is promoting your comeback at the same time EXO was. You hesitantly sneaked your phone number into his sandwich. You watched him open it, as you thought he was going to throw the paper away, he didn’t. He kept it in his pocket and went along.

With his sweet voice, like Chanyeol, he always sang many Tagalog songs with you. (I remember the time when they sang ‘Hawak Kamay’ in the dream concert). Your parents would’ve approved of him quite fast, being such a good, well mannered man. He is the dream son-in-law for every parent

Kyungsoo had always been so protective of you because of you being Filipino, you had a lot of supporters since rookie days. Your kababayan would be really dismayed if there was bad news about you. He wouldn’t like you to lose your career. (Even more if you’re supporting your family)

“After boiling the tamarind, what comes next?” Kyungsoo asked you as he was chopping the spareribs in the battered cutting board. He always does this. He makes random food from your childhood. One day it was adobo, the other day it was caldereta, now it’s sinigang na baboy.

You smiled at him as you spoke a reply, “The ribs.” You clung to him as you wrapped your hands underneath his apron. Wrapping him in a tight embrace.

Jongin

In the Filipino side of the fandom, affectionately called “Phixos” by Baekhyun, Jongin has been called a Filipino. It was because of his looks (his charming eyes, his tanned skin) and his frequent visits to Cebu. Some fans even jokingly say that Jongin would settle with a Filipino girl or along those lines.

It wouldn’t be a shock for the Filipino fandom that Jongin chose a Filipino girl. It would be something that they would even celebrate, the fact that Jongin dated a kababayan. (Fellow Filipino)

You guys met in a photoshoot of a local magazine. He was impressed with your modeling skills, despite you being a rookie in it. Of course, you were intimidated with him as he is the Gucci ambassador. Right after the rather sexy photoshoot, you guys gave each other numbers. You guys started DM-ing each other via Instagram.

Jongin would be just as interested in learning Tagalog than English. In your very long conversations, he would always talk to you in Taglish (Tagalog and English) so that you are more comfortable talking to him. Rather than him talking in long paragraphs of Korean text. He finds it amazing that you speak more than two languages.

Your leader would joke about you being awake at ungodly hours listening to Jongin’s honey voice as he tries to sing when you can’t sleep. Or sometimes it would be his heavily accented English or Filipino. You wouldn’t say anything, but everyone already knows. As soon as your magazine gets through publication, everyone would start shipping you guys together. Searching the deepest depths of the internet for ship-able moments for the two of you.

“I’ve been to Cebu two times last year.” He said to you, smiling as he showed some polaroids from his Cebu trip. Your handsome boyfriend was seated on the couch. You were just chilling in your own apartment.

“You’ve been to Cebu two times in one year?! I haven’t even been to that place ever!” Your eyes were wide with shock, you almost dropped the popcorn you were munching on. How can someone travel twice to a foreign country? - You thought to yourself.

Sehun

It was love at first sight for the maknae. As soon as he saw you passing by on a music show, he cannot take his eyes off you, following all of your available SNS. His eyes were glued at you as he sneaked his number on an Inkigayo sandwich. He was also your secret fanboy, cheering and supporting you while you perform. Sehun always congratulates you on every comeback/release, messaging you on Kakaotalk on how are you doing that time or saying that he’s happy for you.

As soon as you received his number, you cannot imagine that out of all people, it was Sehun from EXO who gave you his phone number. It was like a dream come true. After emptying out your schedule, you immediately called Sehun. - From there, you guys started talking and having feelings developed.

He started being more curious about Filipino culture all because of you. He started researching it in his free time. - I can see Sehun date a foreigner, so I think the culture is not really a hurdle for him.

Surprisingly, you were the one who made the first move. Not Sehun. You confessed to him very confidently. But since the cultural difference, he hasn’t met your parents. As soon as your schedules were empty, you guys went to the Philippines to find your parents and introduce him to them.

Sehun was standing nervously in front of your house’s gate. It was his first time visiting your family. He was shaking to the point that he cannot even move. You looked at him in the eye and asked him, “Is anything wrong?” you asked as you pat his shoulders, calming him down.

“No, nothing.” He said as he shook his head as he held the bouquet tightly in his hands. Then you saw your mother that opened the gate. - They were more than glad that they get to meet your precious Sehun.

“Why didn’t you tell me that your boyfriend is this gwapo?” Your mom asked you as you laughed. Then, you entered the house with huge smiles on your faces.
